BTA Deep Hole Borehole Machine belongs to internal chip removal method, which is mainly composed of center frame, oil feeder, drill pipe coupling and cooling lubricating oil circuit system. The oil catcher in the BTA Deep Hole Borehole Machine is different from the guiding chip catcher in a gun drilling system. In addition to guiding, the oil catcher also provides a channel for oil to be delivered to the cutting zone. The cutting fluid is sent from the gap between the drill pipe and the hole wall, and the chip is discharged from the inner hole of the drill pipe by the pressure of the cutting fluid. The BTA Deep Hole Borehole Machine is widely used, but due to the limitation of chip removal space in the drill pipe hole, it is suitable for drilling deep holes with a diameter of more than 6 mm and the ratio of hole depth to hole diameter is less than 100, and the production efficiency is more than 3 times higher than that of gun drilling.
